All chips are in air tites.For the 19 chips issued between 2003 and 2015, the MGM issued an individual hotel room key for each of these fights. I have all 19 of these room keys.For the 1994 fight (Chavez v. Randall) and the 1995 fight (Bowe v. Gonzalez) the MGM did NOT issue a room key for these fights, but rather $1 slot machine tokens. On June 22, 1938, Heavyweight Jolton Joe Lewis knocked out Max Schmeling of Germany. This was such an important spectacle that the net was over one million dollars in ticket sales. The fight not only made African American Joe Louis a hero for the US, it had patriotic over tones when he defeated Schmeling from the supreme race of Nazi Germany. That’s why this trade simulator is decorated in red, white and blue paint and at the top is the Liberty Bell. On the front of this machine is a chrome & enamel round plate, which depicts this epic fight. The likenesses of Schmeling & Lewis is exact, but the problem is this machine could never be advertised with their names. Because of this very few examples of these machines were produced than a similar model depicting a smoking lady. This antique Liberty Trade Stimulator measures 10” long by 9” wide by 10 ¼” tall and weighs 14 ½ pounds. On the front is a small window with marbles, trying to look like gumballs. Above the boxing plaque is the window for three reels and at the top is a chrome & enamel plaque with the Pay Out information and a Liberty Bell. The grey painted front section on this trade simulator is in very good original condition. In the photographs of the back you can see where some idiot tried to pry their way into the back breaking the top left corner of the door and cracking the lower left hand corner of the side. The lock has since been removed.
